Volcanic eruption is considered to be one of the worst forms of natural disaster that could wipe out an entire civilization within minutes. The earth, as well as the human civilization have witnessed several such calamities wherein an entire city, worse even, entire civilizations have been devastated from such eruptions. For instance, take the example of the city of Pompeii, which unfortunately found itself at the receiving end of an eruption in the Vesuvius, in what could be termed as one of the most tragic incidents caused by natural calamities in human history. Volcano 2.0 is an action game based on the same theme of a volcanic eruption, and the disasters associated with it. Ever since it was released, the game has managed to earn a fair amount of popularity amongst fans.
Equipped with a pretty basic graphics and control features, the game launches with an interactive and visually pleasing interface. The system requirements are fairly low due to the low-end graphics, thus making it possible to be played even on systems with the bare minimum configuration. The soundtrack is somewhat monotonous though, but then, there is not much you can expect from a game that comes with an installer file sized at only 634 kb. Your main mission in the game is to save your village from all the erupting fireballs, giving the inhabitants a chance to escape from the disaster. There are five different stages of volcanic eruption in the game, and it gets increasingly difficult as you advance through the game. You can play the game in an offline mode too. In addition, there is also a provision for you to integrate the game into your own website.
To conclude with, judging by its overall game play and features, the game certainly deserves a score of three and a half rating points on the scale of five.
